Hamish Watt joins board of Montrose Port Authority

Hamish Watt, a prominent Angus lawyer, has been appointed to the board of Montrose Port Authority (MPA).

He brings a wealth of experience to MPA, having set up his own successful legal private practice in Montrose in 1979. His company, Watts Law, merged with Thorntons Law last year to create one of Scotland’s leading legal practices.

Hamish Watt said: “I’m delighted to be joining the board of MPA at an exciting time in its development and look forward to providing useful input that will enable the port to continue to grow.”

Nik Scott-Gray, chief executive of MPA, said: “Hamish brings much experience and knowledge to Montrose port and will play an important role as we pursue our development plans.”
