Notice of Dredge Campaign

Notice is hereby given that on Monday 23rd February 2026, dredging operations will commence
in the navigable channel between Scurdie Ness Lighthouse and the Inner Harbour. These will
continue for up to 7 days.

Mariners are requested to navigate with caution and give the dredger Freeway, and survey
vessel Athos, as wide a berth as possible at all times.

The dredger will make regular trips to Montrose Bay. In the event of operationally unsafe sea
conditions at Montrose Bay, the dredger will make trips to the Lunan bay disposal site.
Regulation dredging signals will be exhibited day and night by the dredger.

Vessels entering/leaving the port must contact Port Control on Channel 12 for instructions.
